an idea I've had for a while is to have a nameable special unit instead of Andy/Fox. this would remove strange titles for these units when used in situations other than one with either character in it. (IE a special operations mission with multiple "Andys" used to destroy a large base) these units would have to have triggers based on their specific unit name in order to have better control over the triggers. (IE the death of one named unit matters, but not a differently named one, one named unit can activate a trigger but not others etc) this would have the possibility to diversify roleplay for units (engineer, scientist, other named characters), clear up awkward excuses for the use of Andy or Fox's name for a unit, and remove the 'Broadsword Shot' sound that Fox makes. _________________ Just a new member who wishes to contribute in any way possible. |

This theoretically wouldn't be very difficult, but they would be overpowered in actual online play at the moment. A sniper unit has been mentioned that sounds akin to what your talking about. _________________ "All held the finite and infinite as unrelated. I should have been clearer: this unit wouldn't be orderable from the HRC, just spawnable like Andy/Fox units now. _________________ Just a new member who wishes to contribute in any way possible. |
