Every time i seem to get some defensive structures built to defend my base as i begin to build and replicate my force, i get attacted by just enough tanks to halt my production and force me to lose my freshly made forces in combat. any help would be appreciated _________________

no, lol,
What you need to do is build you base right at the foot of the replicator, and before you start replication put towers (missle) around the pads where you land your tanks. Then just build big tanks and select them then start replicating, again dont start repliction before you have plents of $$$. _________________ iPAQ h3765 - 256mb CF - 2000mw Battery - OLDER I KNOW LOL |

I start my base at the top. I get my miner going, and stay away from the pads until I get set up, and have some credits. (I believe the forces don't attack right away unless you trigger the replicator.) I create a few towers for the top and then I create a few tanks to protect all four sides, and then a few to replicate. My replicate group includes two Hydras, two eagles, two troopers, two guards. I just start running them through. Ones on the left go back in the hopper, ones on the right go out to fight.
It's a close battle. Try it on easy at first, then move up to hard. _________________ Why negotiate when you can just blow things up?

All of those are good suggestions. Another way you might want to try is rushing the replicator. Make sure you have at least 4 bullpups mining and then take your initial troops and activate the pads with your security guards and then run the rest through the replicator. Keep doing this. As soon as the chain is long enough so that units are getting in eachothers way take at least half of them and put them in strategic locations. For example the top left of your base is vunerable. Units will also attack early from the bottom right of the replicator so put guys over there too. Pretty soon you are going to have a ton of guys. This process shouldn't take much more then 5 or 6 minutes. Give it a try. _________________ Moderator - Handmark Tech Support |

The only way I've been able to make a base is by taking the one in the upper-left corner with my raiders. Do you guys mean start a new one?
Whatever I do, they replicate and attack before my defenses are powerful enough to have most of them survive. I managed to beat it once, after. . .around 8 tries, using up all the save slots of course. Any obvious trick that I'm missing? _________________ "The object of waging a war is always to be in a better position to wage another."

Try deploying the base up at the top, then building a mining base near to it. Let your bullpups harvest from the field on the right. build a VTS and construct 2 more bullpups, then build 8-12 broadswords and attack the west entrance to the base. the rocket towers should be a pushover, but you will encounter some defense. While this is happening, build another similar group and send it down to attack after the first force is destroyed, leaving the enemy no time to recuperate. Then, destroy the base. You CANNOt delay the attack too long as it will allow OMNI to build attackers. Dont touch the pads, they will trigger attacks. |

What I did was build my base right near the top of the replicator and then a processor...cover the pads and then replicate the bullpups creating about 5-6 of them.
Then creating warehouses for the $ and then a research center and research asap. I then create a tank...heavy tank...and run it through the replicator a few times....i then replace my men on the pads with the heavy tanks and then continue to replicate TONS of tanks...over and over..taking the copies and make copies...
2...4...8...16...and so on...
once you get a large enough group, you can sen them out to destroy...kill...you get the idea...
I then continue to relicate as much as possible...creating the large groups of tanks and then send them out in force destroying EVERYTHING....
Love the replicator!!!!! _________________ Pay It Forward! |

After making your base (including upgrades and towers) send some troops down to the replicator, set up a dominion between the top 2 triangles and build towers to guard them.
After that, activate the replicator and send in MASS liberators. Do not deselect the liberator you're replicating because after u clone them they will already be selected so just keep multiplying until you have about 20-30 tanks. The rest should be easy.
Also, cloning troops has a price of $200 (i think) per use so you should have a lot of money ready before cloning. |

Uh,don't you mean liberators?(U can't make hydras yet.)

Sorry guys, but cloning units takes half of the unit's cost.(e.g, Liberator
Cost:600$ Replication:300$ |
