|

I was wondering if you can rotate VTS' and other buildings so that they are facing a certain way. Sometimes they are facing opposite the way I would like them too. And also, is there a way to hide a replicator pad if the point of the mission is to find it? All of them show up when I load it.
Are either of these possible? All replies are appreciated.
Thanks,

Actually, you could create the area and triggers for the replicator pad, only without the pad. Obviously, you wouldn't have a defog trigger. Trying to find the area where that activates the replicator would be a fun mission; or at least the first time. You would have to have only one, or at most two areas for this idea though. _________________ Warfare Incorporated Former Head of Administration || Steam username: WINate |

Yeah rotating the vts and hrs has been discussed in the past and that was because it would make a side on the top of the map no longer have an advantage over those buildings at the bottom. and with hiding pads for replicators, perhaps u could explore different options say if you only want the area of the replicator to be shown at a certain time u could create the trigger:
_________________
Sides: 1,2,3,4
Conditions:
Elapsed time is exactly 360 seconds
Actions:
spawn rocket tower at 1 for side neutral with 100 percent health
spawn rocket tower at 2 for side neutral with 100 percent health
spawn rocket tower at 3 for side neutral with 100 percent health
spawn rocket tower at 4 for side neutral with 100 percent health
modify persistant variable x set 1
_________________
(have four areas, each occupying one small square and are all in a circle around the area u want the 'pad' to be)
and another trigger to say that when a unit from your current side is in the middle of the neutral area and it is after a certain time the replicator can be activated
______________________
Sides:1,2,3,4
Conditions:
Persistent variable x is 1
area (middle of 4 towers) contains exactly 1 any unit owned by current side
Actions:
turn side (the side u want) replicator to on

just remember that when u create the replicator itself that it is owned by the side that you would like to be in the game, or just set it to neutral and it will be there always |

Scott has expressed his wishes to release rally points in the next build. You still wouldn't be able to rotate your VTS or HRC, but you would be able to make your units go where you want. _________________
