after defogging an area with soldiers, and the units leave the area, that place shud fog back up.. but with terrain and structures still visible

cuz sometimes i wanna do a sneak attack but my enemy scanned the entire map with his eagle so he knows my every move Sad

not mins rly... prolly refog back 3 seconds after the unit leaves the area.

And to view the whole map, we can have an upgrade to the survelliance center. Make it have a hammer icon, and it's build option is Orbital Survelliance Center, with 1000 galaxite cost. The upgrade animation would show (only to the SC which you designate to upgrade) and enemies can kill it in the process, because its upgrading, not building. The build time would be 40 seconds, and at the end it would look like a revamped SC, defog the whole map, and still control turrets. If you lose all your Orbital Surveillance Centers, the map defogs entirely, except for places where your troops are stationed. Then you would have to build a new surveillance center, spend another 1000 to upgrade it back to Orbital Surveillance Center

any thoughts?

Holy **** this is freaking me out I just thought alot of good games refog and I was literally just about to post this. This happened before to but then great minds think alike! It's still kindof uncanny the timing.

Map builders can Add a triger to fog the whole map when ever some one sets on the pad?

So it can look like a strock light
so ever so many mins it goes on and off for a few seconds

id love to be able to control the refog in the M editor, Smile id have fun with that, I reckon the max areas should be raised, ( i like spellin things out with defogged areas)

Naa, like you know how there are clan maps with their name spelled out in galaxite, I can spell something out to view via the minimap by defogging areas. And with the area limit raised I could spell more and give it a more crisp look. I would also be able to make special effects (kindof) in my last map I tried making parts of the map checkerboard with defogger areas. So that if u saw the enemy coming it would dissapear staight away, and play tricks with ur mind. Smile

If this were to be put in place, it would have to be put in by a trigger, and would NOT do this automatically. It wouod be pretty cool for just a few maps, but I would hate it if every map was like that. You would just have to kepp sending out and destroying continuous eagles.
