How about this. If someone is pretending to be you and is really causing a problem, let me know and I will take a look. I will ask them to stop. I won't reveal who they are.

What if we can send you a messesge to see if they are some one else like.

We can take 3 guess to find out one persons other ID's
and if one person asked to much then tell them to stop asking or be ban lollollollollol

Pretenders should be banned automatically. I got in a lot of trouble before because those copycats kept on talking crap and people actually thought it was me doing it. So far I've discovered about 4 copycats of me. There's probably more but I don't have time to investigate these things.

I agree val it is very disrespectful to do and can harm one's reputation. It is totally not acceptable.

The l's being replaced with i's are especially bad because there is almost no way to tell. There were a few of these misspelled player names that were used in the last 60 days:

vaiicious
scottiu
mobiiegamer
beriy van java

I've disabled these so they can no longer be used. In addition I've written some code so that I easily find out when these kinds of player names are being used. But still, tell me when you see it.

Lawrence and other mods: I removed the ip visibility. One of the mods took a pic of the ip addresses and posted it to the forum, which breaches the player's privacy, so I thought it would be best to remove that option. If you think you need ip addresses, PM me and tell me what the problem is, and I will help.

I didn't intend for it to be there in the first place. It was an oversight that I fixed.

Thanks for deleting some of those fake ids Scott. On a side note, I think it's really funny that the word "crap" is being replaced by "small tuna" hahaha! I just noticed it and I couldn't help but laugh because my post looked so silly hahaha! No hate here but just wondering, isn't crap "not" a swear word?

This forum has a word substitution feature (any word, but I'm using it for swear words) and the substitution I added for that word is "small tuna" Smile
