downloading custom urls dont work. i uploaded a mission onto fileden, put the url into tinyurl, typed that into the custom url and it doesnt work. what a piece of fece. anyone have this problem too? and please dont ask stupid questions like "did you upload a .pdb file?"
it worked several months ago. now it doesnt. i am very very very pissed right now.

I'm preaty sure that the website you load it to cannot use cookies as part of the download... i think.

idunno.. i mean ive used fileden over the summer and it worked perfectly. now its just stopped working. like it just gave up on life or something..

Test downloading the map from the link via your web browser, if the link requires "Human interaction" (entering in letters represented in a visual scrambling of letters) the url loader will NOT work!!

Ya this thing definetally doesn't work. glad someone else has the same problem as me. It just says "Download mission pack is invalid!". Evil or Very Mad

I know it's tough to use this Custom URL feature. There are all sorts of issues when using one of those download services. The best thing to do is run an HTTP server locally and load it from there, but that isn't easy for most users. I will think about how to make it easier.

Duh -.- It works perfectly for me. Try to write the Fileden url itself, not through a tinyurl link. Thats how I do it Razz
