Edit: but I think this pimp unit should only be able to heal/fix a selected group one time. Each unit could heal/fix once. Then take base.

The medicanic raider sounds better and it fixes all tanks and heals all infantry including other medicanic raiders. Kind of like M&Ms (marines and marauders/marines and medivacs) or M&M&Ms (marines and marauders and medivacs) in Starcraft 2.

if you have people that you can create to heal all of your army. the healer should be slow and have short range with his healing power plus cost more then a hq. i dont see a point in this cause the amount of time to build.

A healer unit shouldn't necessarily be that expensive and underpowered: we can make it so that one healer can target one damaged unit at a time, and the healing rate is similar to that of an Andy (slower than the rate at which the unit can take damage). We could also make the cost of the unit slightly cheaper than the raider (at around 400 galax). Keep in mind players would want a good balance of combat units and support units and we only have a supply max of 60. If, for instance, someone tries to attack another player with 30 security guards and 30 healers while the enemy has 60 security guards. The firepower of the 60 would destroy the 30 in a fair fight, and once those combat units are gone the healers are helpless.

Keep in mind that when an Andy is attacked, his suit does not recharge. It only recharges once the Andy has not been attacked for about 5 seconds. Therefore, in the heat of battle, an Andy will recover at a same rate as a security guard. It will heal double the speed only when it is not attacked.

im 99% sure that security guards cant heal. Ive played so many maps where they dont heal.

LOL what?!?! When did I ever say security guards heal o__O

Pay attention guys (galm). We're talking about the healing rates of Andy and a security guard in the hypothetical situation of having a certain medic-type unit.

Medic isn't a bad idea but there should be a limit as to how many each one can heal.
