Are we legally allowed to create levels that copy an event from a movie?

Sorry if this is common level-making knowledge; this is the first game I've created levels for.

If you mean like importing movie clips, of course we can't do that.

But we can make levels based on movies. Maybe you should cite them though. Like say "based on the movie James Bond" or something, just to be on the safe side.
