It seems that nowadays, the forums is pulling a "fake log-in" on me more often.

By "fake log-in", I mean I entered my username and password and hit log in and the server logs me in (my name shows up in the online members list) but it DOESN'T log me in (I'm still logged out and I need to log back in). When I log back in, the server treats the first log-in as an authentic log-in, and I'm unable to see any "view posts since last visit". Any reason as to why this glitch exists in the first place?

This glitch or something similar to it happened to me when I had the "Log me on automatically each visit" option enabled on both my iPod touch and home computer. By logging out of the account and disabling the option on my iPod (which is done by never enabling the option again), the problem was fixed. I'd also like to know what internet browser you're using on the device that is giving you this problem. Let me know if you still have troubles.

I only post with my trineroks account. And this problem happened to me sometimes in the past, but now it's just ridiculous. It's like every other day.

It happens with any browser (Mobile Safari, IE, Chrome, Firefox)

I highly recommend checking all cookies settings on all browsers to make sure that cookies are enabled. Additionally, ensure that you automatically login on only one device/computer and one browser. Once that has been completed, notify me of any further complications.
