|
|
I purchased Warfare Incorporated on the CD that was offered. I installed it and it ran fine. Today, I tried to update the game, using the same exact profile on my Zodiac that the original game had been installed to. After the install, it asked me to input my registration code in again. However, as soon as I did it said that the password was invalid. The serial had the "K-" in the registration of the game as does my serial, but it says that my serial is invalid, even though it worked perfectly fine for the original game on the cd. Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. |

The retail version (CD) and the esd (on-line) version have different keying mechanisms. You need to exchange your retail key for an esd key. To do that visit http://www.handmark.com/support. You'll need to provide these two pieces of info:
- The old retail key
- The new code you see when you run WI (starts with 'C-')
And they will exchange it for you and provide you a new key (starts with 'K-').
Thanks. _________________ Warfare Incorporated Development Team

The FAQ has all the information on how to submit for a new registration code. _________________ Moderator - Handmark Tech Support |

I'm not sure exactly how long it takes. I will ask them about this. _________________ Moderator - Handmark Tech Support |

I e-mailed them 2 days ago for this problem, before finding this forum... They have not contacted me at all, not even to let me know that they received my e-mail! |

They are working on a solution that will allow users to access a web page to have their serial number converted. In the mean time they will be giving out ESD serial numbers for users who purchased the retail version. _________________ Moderator - Handmark Tech Support |
