The numbers in front of the clan names are the position they are ranked against other clan, due to their average rating between 5 players of their choice..
Nothing has changed about warfare I think. People are just joining clans to partipate in this clan leaderboard
You can join any clan you want, I'm sure van javas will consider you, or you can keep ur clan and get 4 other members to join ur clan.
Or
you stay in your clan and don't join the clan leaderboard..
