If u use voting to determin if someone is to be muted then a person who is being abusive to another player and is suppored by a group will not be muted. I feel that as a mod you should take into account the view of the person being abused rather than the group.
EDIT
I just had an idea, I saw this in charadium which is a multiplayer drawing and guessing game, a function for players to say a command that is something like: [ /push "Kou" ] would send a push notification to kous last used device that played warfare Inc telling him that he is wanted to play warfre. This would hopefully increase the players on warfare provided the option is widely known and making friends is encouraged

Yeah bet for the betterment of WI the knolegable players will have it off but many many people won't know that it wastes power (such as myself a min ago) so they will have it on, and it will increase the amount of use the server gets

Push notifications would be a great way to get people who haven't played the game in a while back in the game, but for the people who already frequently play the game, it would get annoying after a while. Another thing to think about is how would it work? Trine suggested a /push chat command, but that person would most likely have to be in the room for a chat command to work. Perhaps a name search through the leaderboard?

With the push notification you'd write the command followed by the players name and the request would be sent to their device. and like galm said, if it does get annoying it can be turned off in settings. And uknow how there r buttons on the notification when it comes
up, there could be an ignore button and a goto button which would open up the multiplayer server choice.
Hey and with the commands, I'm not sure about this but is it possible for Scott to edit the keyboard to have another button with all the commands listed or is that a built in feature?

I know, it's just that if you ask any player who dosent visit the forums often whether they know about the commands id say their most likely response would be "WTF". If the commands are ment to be widely known then perhaps making it more obvious like a pop up list from pressing a button in chat.

A simple solution for this could be when you enter the room after all the player in the room are listed, it would say "Type '/help' for all chat commands." That would be very easy to put in, and would help new players out a lot.

[player] has entered the room. Example, Example1, Example2, and Example3 are also in the room. Type "/help" for available commands.

^that would look nice^. good idea Nate

Yes, exactly. Thank you, trine, for the example. Just for perfecting reasons it could look like this:

[player] has entered the room. Person1, Person2, and Person3 are also in the room. Type "/help" to view all available chat commands.

Any other perfecting that needs to be done? Another option would be to list all of the commands in the beginning instead of telling you to type "/help".

Lawrence, you got it dead on. Search a name up on the leaderboard, and then there would be a button next to their name to send a Push Notification. To avoid annoyance factors, there would have to be a time limit of how often you could send one. Once every hour, once every two hours, or once every three hours perhaps.
