Us people with Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 or HTC Touch HD would like to have WVGA (800x480) supported. |

I own both the xperia as the HD and there is indeed no reply!
I think they gave up for WM, and they smell the money from the iphone
too bad cause WM6 is coming up very strong now with all those new phones like Touch HD, Xperia, Omnia etc and more to come!
AND, WM6 has far more options to work with!
well I will anoy the people of handmark to react on us!
I know the topics where they are active, and throw messages there.

Handmark really has no bearing on the process, you'd have much more luck PMing him.
Scott is very busy lately, but I'm sure this is on his to do list. _________________ [WI Moderator]

I see I posted this message here below in the wrong place, let me add it here as it may help Scott create a fix:
I will second that, I have the new Touch Pro 2 and have the same screen problems, i.e. half the screen being used on the trial version.
Can this be easily fixed?
if yes and I purchase the current version, do I get a free upgrade when the problem is fixed.
I saw that the game "machines at War" had a similar problem and they came out with a patch:
http://www.isotope244.com/help.html#faq147
Machines at War doesn't work on HTC Touch HD. (Applies to any device with a 480x800 or 800x480 screen.)
There is a patch for the game to work on these devices, simply download the following file and copy the gui.xml file over the old one in the games directory on your PDA/Phone.
MAW Patch
To get the game to run in HD mode, in the games directory delete the "settings.xml" file and rename the "settings vga.xml" file to "settings.xml" then load the game. |
