on a few of the quests, i tell my guys to go attack something....AND THEY RUN THE WRONG WAY! I've tried yelling, but that doesn't work. they just ignore me. i have no idea how these things work, but if i had to guess, i'd say that there is a "leash" that these guys tie to an object and then proceeds to follow that leash, after it passes a size filter. like, peds will pass though a smaller hole than a tank. a tank would consider a hole impassable and tie the leash via an alternate route, possibly causing the unit to run the other way. it only seems to happen in a area congested with objects, like a choke point in the terrain with a few generators in it. _________________ Kill all extremists!!! |

What type of device are you running on? Are there any particular levels that seem to have a problem? Can you give me any specifics as to where on these maps the problem seems to occur. For example, like Mission 4, SW corner sending units to the NE corner.
This kind of information would be useful in determining what you are seeing, and what might be causing it.
Thanks for the info. _________________ Moderator - Handmark Tech Support |

I think it's on full c2:full frontal assault. If i remeber correctly, it happened NNE area of the screen headed to NE corner trying to clean up some stragglers. there is a mountain choke point with a couple of generators and towers. it was getting so bad that the guys would get shot and run the other way by themselves. usually they only do it when i tell them to go somewhere. but i can select a point past the point i tell them and they get it right. i'm on a clie nx70 running silverscreen 3. believe it or not, silver screen is a variable in some programs. ss3 with aggression loaded in causes hard resets, though i'm told software cannot cause hard resets. bull pucky.
ps. it has occurred at the starting point as well at the right-most northern-most tower, trying to kill hostiles around that tower. it has happened in other scenarios as well, but not as often. _________________ Kill all extremists!!! |

Thanks for the feed back. We will have to look into that.
Be sure to to keep us posted if you discover anymore information about what might be causing the problem. _________________ Moderator - Handmark Tech Support |
